Angela Brinkhurst

Trustee

I joined the board after my daughter Alice died in 2016.  She had profound heart and lung problems. The cardiology department were amazing and she had the best treatment she could have wished for. I was asked if I would consider joining the charity as a trustee, and have been on the board since then.

I have a background in fundraising committees from 1976 until 2009.

I think that the charity has benefitted many more people in Sussex than anyone really realises. I feel it is important to keep that message going.

My main interests are, coaching athletics , officiating at athletics matches as a Starter and Marksman.

I am also a life member of the Cliffe Bonfire Society in Lewes. Life is also busy with looking after my ever growing family of Grandchildren.
